Temporary exhibitions
- COLLABORATION: Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos
This is a renovation in a building next to the Rijksmuseum. It has different uses: offices, space for restoration, and rooms for temporary museum exhibitions. As in the main museum building, the central idea of this renovation was transform the courtyard, returning it to its original appearance. Over time, covered areas have been added to expand the exposure to the museum exhibits. Another important aspect of the renovation was the addition of a large chandelier, which reduces the scale between the interior space and its visitors.
